Community Visioning Exercises

Coordination with the City or Municipality, the builders and developers as to the architectural styles acceptable and appropriate for the new development, in relation to the surrounding community.

Public consultation and stakeholder engagement

Where required by the stakeholders and/or municipalities, we provide service to facilitate meetings, including public participation where required for any concerns and design directions.

Creation of Architectural Design Guidelines (ADG) or Architectural Control Guidelines (ACG)

Detailed community vision and design requirements for priority lot locations, acceptable building materials, building heights compatibility, variety in the streetscapes and design review process.

Ongoing Architectural Design Control and Guidance

As outlined in the ADG or ACG, we conduct periodic site visits and reports to ensure that the construction conforms to the approved drawings and that all stages of construction are completed to a satisfactory standard of workmanship.

Design coordination across multi-builder developments

In most new communities where there are multiple builders, we review each elevation offered to ensure that there is variety yet harmony in the streetscapes, with consistency in the materials and architectural level.
